Haiku Gardens Landscaping is located in Spring, Texas, and specializes in the design and installation of quality Japanese gardens, including waterfalls and ornamental ponds for home owners in the Houston area.

During the initial consult at the homeowner's house, which is at no cost, I first walk thru the area to be landscaped with the homeowner and get their inputs as to what they want included in the design. I will ask about plants the owner likes or dislikes, discuss any drainage, electrical or irrigation issues and finally take measurements of the area to be landscaped. I will bring a picture portfolio of Japanese gardens we have designed and installed in the Houston area. From these pictures I can help show the homeowners examples on how we can transform their landscape and achieve their desires.. Following the initial visit, I will prepare a scale design of the proposed landscaping with a detailed estimate. This design phase takes a minimum of one week. The design and estimate will be presented during the second visit to the homeowner. This estimate is normally provided at no cost to the homeowner. However, a fee may be assessed based on distance of the homeowner from Spring and scope of the design work. Any fee will be discussed during the initial consult.

If a contract is signed, and once the work begins, I will stay on the job until the work is completed to the satisfaction of the homeowner. After the job is completed, I will leave with the homeowner written recommendations on care and fertilization of their new plants as well as instruction on how to maintain other elements in their new garden such as the care of water falls, koi ponds, fish and water lilies, flagstone, night lighting, cedar/bamboo fences, etc.
